The Dunhuang 35kV power transmission and transformation project is a key energy project in Gansu Province's 14th Five-Year Plan, with a total investment exceeding 200 million yuan. The project plans to construct a new 35kV intelligent substation and supporting transmission lines, covering Dunhuang City and surrounding desert photovoltaic parks, with an annual green electricity transmission capacity of 320 million kilowatt-hours. In response to the unique environment of Dunhuang, characterized by extreme drought, large temperature differences between day and night, and wind and sand erosion, Zikai Electric designed a fully sealed GIS combined electrical appliance + intelligent circuit breaker architecture, with equipment protection level reaching IP65 and key component lifespan extended to more than 25 years.
A digital protection and control system is adopted to achieve millisecond-level fault location and automatic isolation, ensuring the stable operation of photovoltaic grid connection and power grid.

Intelligent monitoring and green electricity traceability
An integrated IoT monitoring platform monitors equipment status, power quality, and renewable energy consumption in real time. It also enables green electricity traceability through blockchain technology, supporting Dunhuang in building a "zero-carbon city" brand.
