Project Background and Significance
The Luzhou Natural Gas Power Generation Project is a key energy project in Sichuan Province's 14th Five-Year Plan. With a total investment exceeding 2 billion yuan, the project is planned to have four 100MW gas-steam combined cycle units, generating an estimated 2.4 billion kWh of electricity annually. Using natural gas as its primary fuel, the project reduces carbon emissions by approximately 50% and nitrogen oxides by 80% compared to traditional coal-fired power plants. It is a key initiative in promoting energy mix optimization and supporting the implementation of the "dual carbon" goals in Southwest China.

High reliability gas power plant distribution system
To meet the stringent requirements of gas-fired power generation for power supply continuity and transient response, Zikai Electric has designed a dual-busbar segmentation + rapid backup power switching (ATS) architecture, which includes core equipment such as high-voltage switchgear, GIS combination electrical equipment, low-voltage switchgear and intelligent circuit breakers to ensure safe and reliable unit startup and shutdown and grid connection.
The digital protection control system is adopted to achieve millisecond-level fault isolation and automatic recovery, ensuring the stable operation of the generator set.
Intelligent monitoring and energy efficiency optimization
The integrated IoT monitoring platform monitors unit load, power quality, and equipment health status in real time, and dynamically adjusts power generation strategies through AI algorithms to improve unit operating efficiency.
A reserved access port for the energy storage system will enable the expansion of frequency regulation auxiliary services in the future to enhance grid stability.
Adaptability to harsh environments
The equipment has passed IP55 protection certification and can withstand the high temperature and high humidity climate in southern Sichuan. The life of key components has been extended to more than 25 years.
Strictly follow the technical specifications of the National Energy Administration to ensure seamless connection with the Sichuan power grid and support the implementation of the "West-to-East Power Transmission" strategy.
